Rule format question

Hello all,

So I played this game a ton growing up with my brothers and friends back when Psychic/Alien/Treeborn Frog decks were around (2012) and when Synchro was the newest summoning type. I stopped playing shortly after that.

I wanted to try playing with my brothers again but there's no way we want to learn new summoning methods. I snagged a couple of those new Blue Eyes structure decks but they're super fast, crazy powerful, has Link summoning and the game ends in about 2 turns.

Are there slower formats that encourage older play and have decks that are accessible? Where would I start?
