Two Quality-of-Life Features Arc Raiders Really Needs

Discussion

Hey Raiders, after spending a good amount of time in ARC I keep coming back to two mechanics that would massively improve the flow of fights, revives, and looting—especially in chaotic PvE/PvP moments.

  1. Dragging Bodies (Enemy or Teammate) for Safer Looting

Right now, looting a body in the open is basically asking to get third-partied. It would be amazing if we could grab and drag a dead body a few meters into cover—behind a rock, into a bush, inside a building—before opening their inventory. Something quick, not a full animation marathon, but just enough to make looting tactical instead of suicidal.

  1. Carrying Downed Teammates (and Pausing Their Bleed-Out)

Absolutely need this. Being able to pick up a downed teammate and move them into safety would change squad play entirely. And to keep it meaningful, while being carried the player’s bleed-out timer should pause, encouraging clutch rescues instead of letting someone die in a terrible spot. Think of all the cinematic moments this would create—dragging a buddy away from a firefight while bullets are flying.
