Retiring. M 25

Hello All,

I have played Clash Royale since release day, and have faithfully defended the game and spent money playing it. I have enjoyed lots of moments and hated some too. Throughout the years I have seen the game go in all sorts of directions. I still miss the old rage spell and how the game was fun in the first few years. Despite having great memories building clans, reaching top 100 in local clans and feeling the player community excited to continue playing, I will not be. It isn’t the most recent update, or past updates, or the anticipation of future updates. It’s the fact that matchmaking (I’m talking in 2v2 because that’s all that is worth playing anymore to me) is so horrendous, that I cannot play the game and have a good time anymore.

I discovered recently that my account may actually be one of the oldest accounts out there due to the exact time it was created, which was barely after release. It is a discouraging feeling knowing that such a long journey is coming to an end in darkness and without joy.

I opened the game today and lost 16 matches in a row. I love you guys, but I’m sorry. I simply cannot and will not be playing this game anymore.
