I think I almost got taken by a sex trafficker.

I'm sharing this story as a warning to others.

Many years back, I had someone watch me for 12 hours at the restaurant I worked at. He wasn't even attracted to me. Yep, super weird right? No, the guy didn't even sit in my section. He did his best to be friendly and flirty with everyone except me and yet, every time I looked over at him his eyes would dart away. I could feel his gaze on me.

I'm autistic. I'll literally wake from a dead sleep if someone looks at me. I also get a sense of his energy. I'd never felt such focus. It was like he was cataloguing everything I did like a tiger pretending he was laying around but he actually was hunting some sort of super flighty prey. There was zero friendliness in his eyes. Just ice cold and calculating. When he looked away it wasn't like he was embarrassed. He just decided to look elsewhere because I wasn't the least bit interesting. He was very relaxed. No, the odds are he was a professional sex trafficker.

This is their favorite way to scope out potentials. Just go into a place where damaged younger girls are likely to work and scope the place out. Any girl that's sweet, submissive and overly eager to please and can take customer abuse and still keep a real smile on her face is their favorite target in the world. No, while stroking a John's member can keep you fed, stroking his ego will make you a millionaire. Those are the girls you can sell at top dollar to men like Epstein. Aka someone like me. (A fact I learned 15 years later when I was 34) No, they want everyone to like them and notice that he's not interested in me. He knows there's cameras. Most likely if I'd left he'd follow me home and attacked. If I'd been less aware, I'd have easily fallen prey because the guy was that good. In fact part of the reason my nerves jangled so loudly was because of exactly how good of a predator he was playing. No, luckily, I talked someone into letting me close. I ended up working 18 hours.

I figured that since he wasn't actually obsessed with me that he'd leave eventually and I was right. No, the great part about closing is everyone leaves at the same time. Still, I drove to a gas station and double checked my car for trackers before going home. From then on, I carried a knife to work and paid much closer attention to the vibe I got from people. No, please trust your instincts. Nature has been building up the best set of animal instincts for 4 billion years. You're a total fool to not trust yourself. Always remember that. The ONLY time you should question it is if you start being paranoid all the time. Then you might want to get checked out. 😁 Anyways, stay safe everyone
