Don’t know how to come out and introduce myself (F26) after years of isolation due to mental health problems.

For the past 3 years I’ve (F26) been completely isolated. Could technically say for entire college years too as I didn’t make a single friend. I have severe anxiety issues and irrational paranoia that people will harm me. There were spans that I wouldn’t do basic hygiene for months on end for these years.

My family gave me financial support all these years and I’m incredibly grateful for this. It’s really complicated but it’s not all a sweet situation back home and decided move out on my own this year.

Since then, I decided to get a job for the first time and make positive changes in my life. The job (half a year ago) only lasted one month because I couldn't take it anymore.

I want to get a job now as a janitor (ideally this because I don't want to deal with other people) and don't know how to come out. My situation with my family is complex where my dad is still married to an abuser and I don't even want them to know anything about my life now for my safety.

I've read people say "took care of family member" for a job gap after graduating but I don't want to mention family at all. I'm also cautious of saying that I've had health issues due to discrimination and knowing how this perhaps make them more curious to contact my family behind my back.

I don't know what to say and it's making my head spin. The last job I just said I use to clean peoples homes for a living for a job that didn’t even require a high school diploma. I lied because I was fearful of addressing this gap so I wanted to have something that couldn’t be verified. I’ve asked AI chatbots for advice and can’t seem to settle on how to introduce myself.

I’m committing myself to changing my life and wish I could just come out and face no judgement. I wish people didn’t gossip and try to backstab when they find out your biggest anxiety and fears. Not sure how much insight I’ll receive for this post but I’m appreciative of any advice given.
