Having a fuel issue, missing voltage
So I did a headgasket and timing chain on this engine since it was overheating. Right now it cranks, but I'm not getting fuel, sprayed brake clean in the throttle body and it fired properly.
So far I've tested voltage at the fuel pump plug, one of the wires has good voltage with the key in but the white and purple wire has none, ground seems good though.
I'm thinking my next step is direct wiring it, would this work temporarily? I'm not sure if I should just do a direct line or hook it up to the old wiring, any ideas? I've also had ignition issues due to some burnt wires and being a manual swap, I've re-done the wiring but could something related to that prevent the fuel pump from priming?
Appreciate any help, this car has been a pain in the ass
