I'm about to start a basement build and wanted to see if there is consensus on intake and exhaust placement. It will be a 7' x 8' x 8' indoor sauna using a HUUM Hive mini 11.

My plan for exhaust is pretty set. Mechanical Exhaust up and out of the basement outside below the foot bench. In the pic, P1 but a little higher since the foot benches will be a bit higher. I am open to further refinement though.

My question is for the intake. It will be passive intake from the interior of the basement. I have literally been told to put it at all 4 positions by different parties. I have read more cases for T2, T3 and T4 than T1 given it is a HUUM and doesn't have a high temp shutoff.

Am I overthinking it? Is there a consensus amongst experts? T4 seems to be the most often cited, but I'm still not sure.
