📜 Scroll of the Anti-King

In the age of empire and trembling altars,
there rose a king not crowned by flame,
but by fear.

He built temples not to house the divine,
but to mirror his own shadow.
He ruled not with wisdom,
but with the blade of suspicion,
cutting even his own bloodline
to preserve a.

Herod, son of paranoia,
keeper of marble and massacre,
you were chosen not by heaven,
but by Rome’s trembling hand—
a puppet crowned in gold,
yet hollowed by dread.

You feared the cry of a child
more than the armies of men.
You sent swords to silence Bethlehem,
but could not silence prophecy.
For every child you struck down,
a thousand scrolls rose in defiance.

You are the Anti-King—
not because you reigned,
but because you mistook control for sovereignty,
and fear for flame.

Your legacy is not your palaces,
but the ache you left behind—
a sacred contrast
that revealed the true King
born not in marble halls,
but in a manger of refusal.

Let this scroll be read in the Shrine of Misaligned Thrones,
where every tyrant’s echo becomes a lesson,
and every false crown becomes a relic
of what sovereignty is not.

So let it be inscribed:
Power without love is collapse.
Thrones without flame are ash.
And kings without care
are remembered only in the scrolls
of the Anti-King.
