He’d done it. Shiga-. No. Tenko faded away, and All for One was gone. And so was One for All. He could hardly believe it. So much time, so much struggle, so much effort. It was such a great weight gone from his shoulders. And yet he could feel the growing emptiness in his being. The Embers won’t last forever.

But? Wait? He’s not gone from the shared vestige realm?! What’s going on?!

He sees them, growing closer, orbiting one another. Eight small, shining stars. The tiniest pieces of the vestiges he was able to save and reawaken. They began spinning faster, growing closer and closer, until they merged into one multi colored star before him. So close he could reach out and touch it.

“It’s for you Ninth.” There, just in front of him, the barely visible form of Yoichi.

“One for All IS gone, and you have fulfilled its purpose. You do us all proud, and we can’t thank you enough. But with what little remains of our power, we give to you a power of your own.”

Shock passes through me, and millions of thoughts start racing in my head that it’s a wonder I haven’t started mumbling yet. “Yoichi… thank you all, for everything. But are you sure? What… what even is this, if OFA is truly gone.”

He merely smiled. Something calming as he faded into oblivion, and yet with a touch of excitement.

“I don’t know! Something new, something unique. Something yours.”

The star passed into me, its rainbow like quality adding electric green it is symphony, and he can feel the embers… merging with it.

I smile back, my eyes already filling with tears. “I can’t wait to find out!”
