Bug or working as intended (lich King)

I was playing lich King and i got a permanent reborn on a Flighty Scout.

I had two in hand. I used reborn on one in shop. I then applied another spell to the one in shop. i bought the one in shop to triple. The tripled Scout had permanent reborn.

I didn't think to see if would work if I reborned another minion in the tavern.

Incredibly niche play maybe but was useful for the first few rounds to have multiple reborn minions.
