Kicking out unemployed roommate (Missouri, USA)

Location: Missouri, USA.

Hi everyone! I have a question about housing.

I live with two roommates. We are all on the lease together; we don't have separate agreements with the landlord. One of my roommates has been extremely toxic. They don't do any chores, they've dumped trash in my room, and they owe me $3k from a period when they were unemployed and I covered their rent. They also have two cats, which goes against our lease agreement. Recently, they moved one of their friends (not helping with rent or utilities at all) into the apartment. I agreed to this in the moment, which I regretted immediately. Now they're unemployed again and I am done.

I've spoken to my landlord, who has said that breaking the lease would require three months of all our combined rent. I simply don't have that much money on hand. What options, if any, do I have?
