Profound and Full of Meaning

The boy climbed the 14 steps to the top of the landing

Tripping and traipsing over his fathers clown shoes

He leaves them everywhere

The boy was graceful and light

The shiniest star in the sky

But his mothers voice did cry out

From afar

She sees him there

Stumbling

Tumbling

And he knows she is watching him

Fall amongst the clown shoes

So when he is alone at night

He does not know what to do

Mother sleeps well knowing the blood in the room

But she often thinks of her father

And remembers that

Not all angels are in heaven
