MVP Showdown: It's Maye vs. Stafford for the Title. Who is your pick and why?

The MVP race seems to be a two-man heavyweight battle between Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford.

Both QBs are having incredible seasons, but their arguments for MVP are completely different. Who IYO will walk away with the crown?

The Case for Drake Maye - The Favourite (-125)

The argument for Maye is simple: Winning and Efficiency.

  • He's the leader of the AFC's #1 seed Patriots (11-2).
  • He manages the game perfectly: great TD-to-INT ratio (23 TDs, 6 INTs).
  • Maye is the favorite, but he hasn't thrown for 300 yards in a single game all year! He'd be the first QB MVP in the modern passing era to win without a single 300 yard performance.

The question is: Does his perfect game management and team success outweigh the lack of monster yardage games?

The Case for Matthew Stafford (+125)

The argument for Stafford is Volume and Big Plays.

  • He leads the league in passing TDs (32 TDs).
  • He's consistently had to carry the Rams' offense through a tougher schedule than Maye, winning games with 4th quarter drives and huge passing days.

The question is: Can his massive stats and elite performances overcome his team's 9-3 record and that one recent bad loss?

If I've missed any certain part of the narrative that you'd say is detrimental to this race comment below!
