Lost a job last year, now even with a new role feeling dead inside.

So I got laid off in August this year, first month was rough but then I went with the usual routine, hitting up LinkedIn’s and recruiters and finally was lucky enough to find a contract role that pays well but is only till mid next year. I know I should consider myself incredibly lucky to have found something in this market but it’s like something in me snapped… I have always been a good to high performer. This time it feels different…. I just do what’s needed, I am not motivated anymore. Which is very unlike me. I don’t feel excited anymore. Anyone else in the same boat?
