Pots and pans recommendations

I’m moving out on my own and am looking for recommendations. I keep hearing caraway but I can’t justify the price. I do cook quite a bit, and i’ll have an electric stove. I’m not the biggest fan of stainless steel for frying pans so I guess my question is is brand that would do the job.
