9 month old suddenly won't take baths

Recently my 9 month old son will scream every time i try to bathe him, I've been reading around in reddit, tried batheing with him, setting him in while it's filling up, making sure the bathroom is warm, toys. It started about a month ago when someone else gave him a bath in a sink, he also got dunked in a pool by her and we did take him to the beach for the first time, where he did get splashed by a couple waves. i dont know if he's just scared of getting dunked or if it's something else. He is also teething and has 4 teeth coming in so maybe he's just uncomfortable from that ??i just dont want to dread bath time with him and feel guilty/bad he screams everytime. Any tips on how to help him feel better about getting a bath ?
