I just got a really good deal at REI for this watch marking it down 40% off. I held back on getting it before because of it being $500 retail but I'd gladly pay $375 for it. Even though how big and bulky the watch is compared to my 5610 and my GBD-200, for some odd reason this watch feels way more comfortable than either of them with the stock bands. It's not as heavy as it looks and it's actually pretty light and feels on par with my GBD-200. I think Casio did a long of R&D to find any parts that could stick out and stab your wrists and they adjusted the H1000 to let you wear it and never feel uncomfortable. I'm really sensitive when it comes to wearing watches for long periods of time so to say I wore this watch for more than 24Hrs straight and even slept with it on says a LOT. I like how you can change the face to 5 different styles and you can turn off all the smart features and use this purely as a watch on power saving mode and the battery will last for months without needing a charge. You can even change it to vibrate instead of beep if you're self conscious about making too much noise when operating the watch. Even though this watch has solar, I'm really bad about charging my watch by leaving it out by a window sill so having the option to charge it via USB works perfect for me. I received the watch almost at dead battery life and it took me around 1 1/2 hours to fully charge it. I noticed the the backlight looked a lot nicer to me than any of my other MIP g-shocks. I might be forgetting to mention some other things about this watch so if you have any questions I'll try to answer them.
