Do I have a legal claim for being forcibly removed from a hospital after a car accident?

Location: Minneapolis, MN On November 28, 2025, I was rear-ended and transported by EMS to Hospital A. After they discharged me, I told the staff I could not physically stand up without getting dizzy. They told me I would have to check in again if I wanted to be evaluated, but I couldn’t get up without almost passing out.

Security then lifted me out of the bed and took me outside the hospital entrance in about 28°F weather. I only had sweatpants and a T-shirt on and no socks. I ended up with bruising on my upper arm and armpit area from how they handled me. They also issued a trespass warning.

A few days later, I went to another hospital because my symptoms got worse, and I was diagnosed with a concussion with loss of consciousness and post-concussion syndrome.

My legal question: Based on these facts, do I have grounds for any type of claim (unsafe discharge, negligence, or something similar), and what steps should I take next?
