Do Seeds of Mastery improve status moves at all?

I can't find anything online and am wondering if mastering status moves have any effect? I'm assuming they don't (and haven't been wasting seeds on them) but am trying to confirm mastering doesn't like increase the duration of the effect or something else weird lol
