How long until they come back?

It’s been a week since I trapped, fixed and returned a stray cat that I’ve been feeding for 3 years. He’s super mad at me. How long does it usually take for cats to return after a TNR? It’s bittersweet: he’s being fed at other houses around my neighborhood, so at least he’s eating BUT if he’s eating, he may not be as motivated to come back to me. I give him wet food every night and have a heater/bed/heated mat for him in my garage at night. It’s getting colder and I’m worried he won’t ever come back.
