Trying to install wayfire + labwc

Hello, I'm using Arch and I was trying to swap XFCE4 for lightweight + customization but I was experiencing problem in a few ways.

1. When using labwc while logging into XFCE4 Wayland, the workspace pager appears as "Workspace1" to "Workspace2". Also, when I try to click the "Mouse and Touchpad", nothing shows up.
2. I followed the instructions on how to install wayfire but it gave me a meson error. Here's a log.

This never happened on X11 but I've wanted to use Wayland for some applications. Is there any solution to deal with this? Thanks in advance.
