Would you hold GOOG through a downturn?
I feel confident something's got to give at some point somewhere in the market and ripple from there... so thinking of unwinding some positions to build up cash and go shopping on the dip.
I have a healthy amount of Alphabet stock in the portfolio, so wondering what the consensus is on the medium term. They seem more resilient from other AI stocks, given the breadth of their offerings and how they fared through 08 and COVID. But ads are also vulnerable to a downturn, so maybe they're hit regardless, or even worse, than someone like MSFT or AMZN?
IDK, what's the consensus here? And not looking for a debate on whether or not we're in a bubble, save that for another post - let's just assume we are, what do you think GOOG's prospects would be?
