Looking for a friend with multicultural behavior, adaptability between Indian and western culture
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out because I am currently navigating some difficult life circumstances, and I urgently need advice on dealing with certain challenging individuals in my life.
I’ve realized that I don't currently possess the level of behavioral adaptability required to handle these difficult interactions effectively. Historically, the people who have helped me most in the past are those who have gone through significant life struggles themselves, and I’m hoping that pattern holds true here.
🛑 IMPORTANT: Age Requirement for Contact
For everyone's safety and my own privacy, and due to negative past experiences on this platform, I will only engage in conversations with people who are 21 years of age or older.
The Specific Expertise and Experience I’m Seeking
I am looking to connect with people who demonstrate high cultural and behavioral adaptability—the kind that allows you to seamlessly engage with both Western and Indian cultural environments.
Specifically, this includes:
- People in long-term relationships (or marriages) with a White/Western partner.
- People who have a similar successful profile to individuals like Ajit Pai or Nimesh Patel (where their life experiences show a masterful ability to navigate and succeed across both American/Western and Indian cultural spaces).
- Crucially: People who have actually experienced and overcome significant, difficult life struggles.
Beyond the cultural and life experience, I need to hear from people who have experience with, or simply possess, a genuine non-prejudicial perspective toward people with disabilities.
Why This Combination Matters
I am a disabled person, and the challenge of dealing with difficult people is often compounded by a lack of understanding or prejudice, which can sometimes be rooted in cultural perspectives on disability.
I need help developing the communication skills and emotional resilience required to navigate these difficult interpersonal relationships. I believe the strategies you use to successfully bridge two major cultures and overcome your own life challenges are directly applicable to helping me manage difficult individuals in my life with grace and resilience.
