Gi stasis help ( seen a vet)

Hi everybody .

I know this isn’t a vet page but I’m just looking for any advice I have already seen a vet !! But I don’t have any experience with GI stasis if anyone has any further advice

So on Tuesday my rabbit had really bad diarrhoea , I first thought he maybe just had to much greens sometimes he likes to steel his friends and that gives him an upset stomach but it usually goes away very quickly ( a few hours) but this continued the full day I began to get concerned .

Then on Wednesday (yesterday) it went the opposite way and he was doing very tiny hard poos so I took him to the emergency vet, ultimately after being at the vet for 2 hours the vet concluded they’re was nothing wrong with him we done everything a full dental etc . So I went away with pains killers , gut stimulant and critical care , the vet didn’t think he was in full GI stasis but that he was definitely having digestive ideas but we don’t know why . Throughout all this he is still drinking , eating some hay but definitly not as much as usual and not eating any pellets ( which I know is not a big deal) but he is still very interested in a treat . It all sounds okay but I know as his owner they’re is something wrong with him and he usually eats a lot more hay and is excited over his pellets.

How long should I continue with the critical care till I revisit the vet I just don’t know what to do cos they think nothing is actually wrong but I’m sure there is . Also I am more than willingly to go back to the vet as I am extremely worried but I am not going just for the sake of it to be told the same thing again as in the past 2 months I have spent £3000+ ( not in including what insurance have paid) at the vet in an emergency attempt to save one of my other rabbits who passed away due to liver isssues and a dog related emergency , it’s safe to say I am at my absolute brink of stress and cannot afford more vet bills or I will be in serious trouble . I have insurance but it’s maxed out now I have no idea what is going on with my luck of pet health these past couple of months but I mentally cannot take anymore, safe to say I am extremely stressed out right now over his health and if anyone has any advice or when I should decide to go back to the vet .

I would also like to say the vet I seen was experienced in rabbits it was at a well profound small animal hospital that I have had plenty of experience at in the past .

Sorry for so much if anyone can get through all this I really appreciate the help thank you
