I saw a video where a guy says the Tuskens are easily frightened because of Anakin mercing an entire village.

I, for one, am not so sure. How would they have known who it was that wiped out a village if they never saw the culprit? Anakin said he killed them all, so unless one escaped or sent a holo image to their Tusken neighbors, I don't see how that's possible.
