A charecter I wrote is wierd

Alr so I wrote a short story a couple years back called 'objectively humanity' its about this phycopath and the pihilopjy book he is writing where he looks at history and its deeds well objectively. And I don't remember much from it other than one main point " the ability of choice and advanced thought givin to humans Is not what makes us better than the animals it is what makes it worse, we choose to kill, we choose to manipulate, to lie, to watch others carry out our fights" I know it's kinda dark but, how you would react to this​ If it was real. (FYI the story ends with the mc getting proven wrong that humanity chooses to do good also etc etc I'm not that dark)
