Advice on Removing or Retaining a Solar System: Home Purchase

I’m considering buying a new home and I love it. But it appears that they had a solar system installed by Everbright. According to the internet Everbright is bad news. From what we can see, the lien against the home was resolved. If the owner does, in fact, own this system outright, I’m trying to understand the pros and cons of keeping it.

Like, if I never wanted to deal with Everbright again, would it be worth my while to engage with an electrician to swap out the inverter? Will I be SOL if I break ties with Everbright?

Should I instead ask for a credit to have the whole thing removed? Could this damage the roof?
