USC Transfer from LMU

I'm a first year student at Loyola Marymount University and i'm wondering what would be my chances at transferring to USC Dornsife as a Political Science major or an easier major to get in as. I didn't do the best this semester and i'm probably ending my first semester with a 3.0 gpa. Next semester I have more easier classes so i'm really locking in next semester. I'm also trying to really sell myself on my essays and any suggestions or advice would be really helpful.
