Help me

Alright so I’m actually sick and tired of people just spamming the same exact move and beating me. I’m genuinely curious and frustrated how I can get better. I changed my controls to turn off stick jump and change my right stick to tilt attacks but I still use the buttons for my attacks. I play min min because I like her zoning but I’m confused how whenever I go against a ganondorf or lucina or whatever I can’t seem to get a single hit in and just get bounced around just because of some stupid op move that they spam. I understand the basic mechanic of the game like dodging, blocking, grabbing, RPS, etc and would say I’m a casual player but can somebody help me and tell me how to get better at this god forsaken game so I can stop smashing items in my room and feel better.
