Tv will recognize something is connected but won’t display xbox series x

I’ve tried different tvs, cords, and monitors. The hdmi port looks fine. i’ve tried turning everything off and on and restarting the xbox, i’ve tried forcefully putting it into low res mode. nothing changes. I plug in my xbox to the tv and the tv recognizes something is connected to hdmi 1 but still says no signal. anyone know anything? thanks
