LPT: Before posting on r/LifeProTips, remember the actual life pro tip is… don’t post on r/LifeProTips.

SpoilerProductivity

Here is what I have learned after watching posts get deleted faster than my motivation on a Monday.

If your tip helps real humans, they will remove it. If it improves mental health in any way, they will remove it. If it involves cleaning a room, planning ahead, saving money, or becoming a functional adult, they will remove it.

But if you post something like: •“Freeze your socks so your feet feel surprised” •“Put a slice of cheese under your pillow for good luck” •“Use a rubber band to remind yourself that rubber bands exist”

Congrats, you are headed straight to the front page.

So here is the real LPT: If you want your life to improve, follow practical advice.

If you want your post to survive, give a tip so useless it becomes art.
