Bruise/chafe issues

I have been locking myself and occasionally by doms for three weeks at the most, and have never had a serious issue with chafing or pain from the cage. This weekend I was self locked while having multiple men come over to play. During the duration of the session (2-3 hours) and after thru the night I remained locked. Woke up yesterday with an incredibly dark looking bruise that’s painful and looks really bad, almost like it was bleeding under the skin. Has anyone ever had an issue like this, is there anything I should put on it while recovering? Any advice on how long it should be till I lock up again? Thanks
