Order Status

Hey everyone, I ordered from Vela to Qatar and received an email saying my order was shipped on November 27th. Every time I check the Passport website for delivery updates, it still shows 'departed merchant facility' and 'Passport does not have the package yet. Your estimated delivery date will be updated once we receive it.' The status hasn’t changed at all. I contacted Vela’s support, and they said, 'This usually happens when the carrier hasn’t scanned the package during transfer — it’s very common during the holiday rush. Your order has been handed off and is still moving through the network; it just hasn’t had a visible scan yet.' I’m worried this might mean the package got lost or could potentially get lost. Has anyone else experienced this before? Is this normal?
