Jessica and Simon are the keys to resurrect the Green Lanterns in the Mainstream

I started reading the 2016 Green Lanterns run and got to the end of the Gotham part. And I have to say Jessica and Simon are amazing. The plot is serviceable although I hated Frank and the Phantom Ring part, but any page with Jess or Simon is an instant hit. These two to me are the Lanterns of the Modern Era. They have problems very applicable to audiences today, and are very fun to watch. Put these two in a DCU project and they will be instant hits. I may be bias because Jess is my favorite superhero actually but I truly believe both of them would be giant hits. I am not dissing the Four Corpsmen at all and they of course deserve good mainstream representation, but I think these two are the Lanterns of the Modern Era that would put Green Lantern over the top.
