Thoughts on these US-based roasters?
Anyone have experience with coffee from the roasters below? I think they are all based in the US.
For context: There is a small non-profit that supports community-led development in coffee-producing countries. Their annual fundraising auction is happening until Dec 12 and includes some coffee bundles. I’d love to support them by bidding (hopefully winning!) some coffee but budget is especially tight this year, so I want to get a sense of whether I’d be likely to enjoy the coffee. This is the auction (though I also copied all the roasters below): https://charityauctions.com/event/auction/597
FWIW the auction also has coffee equipment, publications, etc., like an Acaia scale and MiiR equipment. Budget is tight and I don’t need need more gear, so I’m trying to channel myself toward the coffee. I might succeed. Might!
