Are renovation/ tradie flyers still common in your area?
Bit of a random question for anyone who owns a place, renovates a lot, or works in the trades/reno space:
Do businesses still rely on letterbox flyers these days?
I feel like I don’t see as many anymore, so I’m curious whether companies (tradies, builders, gardeners, real estate, local services, etc.) are still using flyer drops as part of their marketing — or if most have moved completely to social media.
Not promoting anything — just trying to get a sense of what actually happens in 2025.
If you’ve been involved in this (as a business owner, contractor, or even admin/marketing):
1. How often are flyers usually dropped now?
(1–2 times a year / 3–5 / 6–12 / 12+ / don’t use flyers)
2. What’s the biggest issue with doing them?
No Junk Mail? reliability? cost? finding people? something else?
3. Do people use any kind of tracking or proof-of-delivery, or is it mostly trust-based?
Short comments are welcome, just curious how people are handling this in 2025.
