Hi everyone, I’ve kind of been driving myself mad. I was seeing someone and they told me they had HSV. I thought it was fine because he was taking medication daily and no active outbreaks. When we were seeing each other a small rash developed on my thigh. It was bumpy, skin colored, super itchy, no pain. Just tiny bumps, no fluid filled bumps, not really localized clusters, but it was a patch on my thigh or raised little bumps. 

A month later it’s now spread basically to my whole body- worst is on the inside of my arms my calves, and my groin area (but nothing on my actual vulva area). No pain, just super super itchy. 

Amidst all this, I got a yeast infection while I was with him too. My first one ever, which I took the typical pill to get rid of that. 

I went to planned parenthood, the gyno, my family doctor, and another family doctor and they ALL said it wasn’t HSV and refuse to test me. All other STD’s came back negative. They all said it was likely contact dermatitis but it’s not going away and I have zero clue what it could be because I haven’t changed anything? Unless contact dermatitis lasts a month after an initial exposure (I sprayed my house with raid after my dog got fleas, that’s the only thing I changed) 

They prescribed me a topical steroid cream and it didn’t do anything (I put it on nightly two nights in a row…is that not long enough?) they also prescribed me an oral pill to stop the itching and that didn’t do anything either!! 

Any thoughts would be helpful. I’m feeling soooo anxious about this and praying it’s not HSV. NOTE: I blurred out some identifying features!
