Life of Lubba is the greatest unintensional comedy of Flem Staffrider's career.

The Rise of Skywalker (35 ABY)

Now that the First Order has fallen, their biggest suck up has gone into hiding.

I've heard rumors he's making a movie about what went down at his little dinner party.

Until then, I'm just gonna have to settle for lampooning the shit he made for those First Order losers.

Life of Lubba tells the tail of Lubba, a Hutt who supposedly turned his back on the life of crime when his son Wubba was "tragically" killed by Aord Hac.

Obvious bullshit made to prop up one of the biggest scumbags in the galaxy.

None of the Hutt actors had their names listed, and they give the kind of performance you'd expect from actors giving a performance at blasterpoint.

I say actors, but it's one Hutt that they spray painted and stuck cybernetics to the same poor Hutt actor so he could play all the characters. He didn't want to be known for his forced role in this movie, and as such I will not mention his name in respect to that.

I don't think I need to say that this film's depiction of Lubba is bullshit. We all saw his smug little declaration that he was working for the First Order.

But fuck is this film's attempt to make him at all likeable is so funny.

So much shit they just made up.

Oh, he was kind to his subordinates. (he wasn't. He screwed over people on pay pretty often.)

He was right about the changeling conspiracy. (He wasn't. Aord Hac was the only major clawdite enemy of his.)

He loved both of his sons. (Dubba II joined the Resistance to get away from him close to the film's planned release, forcing them to do reshoots and lots of ADR)

He pulled himself up from his bootstraps to build a legitimate business! (according to Dubba II, he had to support both of them for years because Lubba would get high and sulk. Then Lubba stumbled into being useful to the First Order and got his big break)

Where this film "shines" is the dialogue. Everything Lubba says is supposed to sound like an inspirational speech.

Lubba did not talk like this. It's so jarring when they switch from the dialogue they made up for the movie to the poodoo he actually said.

There's also some character assassination of Aord Hac, the Karstillers, and every other one of his enemies.

Aord Hac is depicted as a mustach twirling villain leading a conspiracy of clawditescoutcto take over the galaxy. Nevermind his actual motive of protecting the two surviving Karstillers siblings from Wubba.

Speaking of the Karstillers, apparently Wubba had them killed because he saw they were mistreating their Rancors. Yeah, anyone that knew about the actual feud knows why that's bantha-shit.

Dubba II is depicted as a two faced toady who betrayed his loving father the moment a chance for power came along.

I might've been about all of this movie's slander of people I know and care about. But honestly, this film just makes me laugh.

Laugh at the loser that literally tried to eat me because I shit talked a few of his films.

Flem Staffrider has tried to push a lot of stupid narratives in his long career of making propaganda films. Darth Vader as a heroic adventurer. Emperor Palestine as a kind and benevolent ruler.

But apparently making Lubba even remotely likeable was too much of a stretch even for him.
