Fridge Surround height

We have an Ikea kitchen (here before we were). The fridge surround is very tight, limiting fridge replacement options. I found one I like but I need about another inch in height for it to fit. Given that I have space over the cabinets I think I should be able to find whatever screws attach it to the back wall and the side cabinet and just raise the entire surround up as the legs on the bottom of ikea cabinets are adjustable. Am I missing anything?
