Not returning to work after parental leave [TN]

I am due in 2026 and trying to work out if its feasible to quit my job and stay home after the birth. I get 12 weeks parental leave from my employer. If I take those 12 weeks and then decided I’m not returning, are there any consequences that can be legally enforced? I’ve heard in other states employers may try to ask you to pay them back for that time, insurance premiums, 401k match, etc.

TIA for any insight. I’m trying to gather any/all information I can to make the best decision for me and my family!
