Having heart issues that doctors can’t seem to figure out
23yo 5’4 110lb male here, I’ve been having lots of issues with my heart as of October and it’s starting to make me worry a fair bit. Unrelated, but I have a varicocele that was diagnosed in September, but none of these symptoms seem to correlate, and also some kidney issues (trying to see renal specialist if anything is amiss.) I’ve been to the ER 3 times now over the course of the last 2ish months due to my heart rate/blood pressure getting really high mixed with extreme heart pains and tingly sensations in my left arm and both legs. For almost all of October I would have the worst night sweats to the point I had to change my shirt at least once throughout the night. I keep having ‘episodes’ of my body getting chills and cold sweats all over, mixed with the heart pains and body symptoms. I’ve been told by ER docs and my primary care physician that it’s anxiety attacks, panic attacks, and primary hypertension. However, I’ve dealt with the anxiety and panic attacks throughout my teens, and these episodes are nothing like what I experienced before. For about 3 weeks now, my left arm particularly the armpit and shoulder blade area have been super achey, and the heart pains are almost constant to the point where I can’t sleep at night sometimes. I have a cardiologist appointment on the 22nd of this month but my heart and upper chest/left arm pains are starting to make me worry as my family has a history of heart issues. Also, all the bloodwork I’ve had done has come up with nothing, including checking my thyroids, lungs, and doing multiple heart x-rays. However, my platelets have been consistently high thru all of this. Any insight or information that’s given is greatly appreciated as I nor the doctors don’t have any answers yet.
