Does Mindseize eventually handle better?
Played a few minutes and it has by a long margin the worst jump mechanics in any non-rage commercial platformer I've played. Not only do simple jumps become inconsistent, but the cling grip seemingly only works (not with 100 accuracy either) when the platform is barely reachable, so any platform that's between the range of jumpable and reachable is seemingly useless. There's a wall cling which I guess eventually turns into a wall jump but which under the current state seems useless (doubt there's any sections like the vertical conveyors in HK's Crystal Peaks).
The main path had a jump which I failed seemingly at random sending me back an entire room and the side path had a chase sequence where the bad jump mechanics seemingly guaranteed (at random points) two free hits.
Also, while I guess this is solvable with key rebinds, the keyboard controls were nonsensical. Z to jump but attacks on C and V. Menus inconsistently required the space bar of all keys for accepting.
