If I delete steam off my unsupported macbook, will I be able to redownload it?

Hello, I’m running MacOS 11.7.10 and my macbook is too old to update further. I can’t afford a new laptop right now and at least until I graduate in a few months and don’t have school draining my finances and time so the easy answer isn’t an option. I still want to play the games I own though, and right now steam is still letting me.

I’ve been having trouble with one game and the publisher’s helpdesk thinks that the issue might be with steam installing a corrupted version of the game’s launcher. since everyone seems stumped, I want to try reinstalling steam and see if that does anything but if deleting it off my laptop now would take away the access I have now to my other games theres no point.

Thanks!
