MSW Application Anxiety (Stats/chances?)

Advice

I am in the process of applying to MSW programs for Fall 2026 in the New England area and am starting to get a little stressed about my potential for admission. I think I'm a (fairly) strong applicant but I have unique circumstances that make me more nervous. I wanted to ask people who are current/former students in the programs I'm applying to (or really any program!) about their application experience and undergrad stats (if comfortable sharing).

I'm applying to the following programs in person, full-time, and in clinical specialization (if it's an option at the school): UConn, Southern CT State, Fairfield University, Springfield College, University of New England, Quinnipiac, and Binghamton.

My background (a little long for context): I transferred schools a couple times and have a 3.58 and 3.96 CGPA respectively at each school. My bachelor's is in general studies with a specialization in history, anthropology, sociology. I had a 3.98 GPA at the school I graduated from until I got 3/4 incomplete fails (yes FAILS) during my very last semester bringing it down to a 3.06 CGPA (luckily I could still graduate). This happened bc I got incredibly sick and was hospitalized for the entire second half of the semester. I couldn't withdraw before the deadline and the disability specialist wouldn't accept my documentation for a late withdraw request. To make up for this, I am currently enrolled and finishing a human services associate's degree at my local community college and am expected to have a near 4.0 in all my major courses. I have work experience in college tutoring, college peer mentoring (basically working with student's with intellectual disabilities to create individualized study plans and build skills), administrative assistant in the university accessibility office, and working as a home care assistant with elderly dementia patients (about 2 - 2 1/2 years total over summers in college). I think I will have strong letters and am working hard on all my personal statements which will be addressing this GPA hardship.

Sorry for being so long winded and totally fine if this is not the place to be asking! Thanks!
