Where and when to invest extra money

So I have accumulated around 1-1.5 L, I wanna put all that in one go in some stocks/mfs. But I have been waiting for a market crash to do that.

But I also don't know any indicators of market crash, like even if market crashes today, i won't know on my own.

So where should I put and also how to know about market crash.
