Are we inherently racist bigots, the South Asians?
Personally speaking, I don't think it's our fault to begin with. We have been conditioned like this, most probably, after being ruled by White people for SO long.
But, we, almost everyone in this Subreddit, must have someone we know in our life, or have heard of, who has been called either 'Kala' 'Kalia' 'Kaalay', and other bigoted racist stuff.
It in fact gets more problematic than it already is, when these racist and bigoted words are uttered with absolute normalcy, like they are mundane. Meaning, we probably are so racist and bigot that it doesn't even crosses our minds anymore.
What do you think about it?
