2014 Vacuum pump delete fuel mileage

Anyone else notice a drop in fuel mileage after deleting the vacuum pump? Today I deleted the vacuum pump and plumbed the brake booster into the intake( I was getting a hard brake pedal at slow speed/idle). The brakes are working good now and it’s keeping a stable vacuum but just noticed an increase in fuel consumption. I do have an oil catch can as well which is what I t’d into on the intake side
