06 Silverado z71 4x4 shutter at 50-60mph

I’m getting an intermediate shutter around 50-60mph will come for 2 seconds fade away then come back 10 seconds later. I do have pretty worn tires but knowing these trucks and transmissions issues & torque converter issues is there anything I can do to test/ scan torque converter? I heard you can put the truck in tow/ haul mode so it doesn’t activate the overdrive clutch but is there anything else I could do to test a torque converter. I just don’t want to spend the money and put brand new tires on and it be torque converter. If anyone else has any input be much appreciated thanks
