Thoughts on this Giannis Knicks trade?
Knicks are almost definitely going to have to trade KAT because the Bucks need to stay competitive since they don't fully own their own picks for a few years. That and KAT's contract matched Giannis's closest. This would make the starting lineups.
Bucks get to stay competitive with KAT as their guy, Hart as depth, and McBride as a younger guy with some potential to be a more than serviceable starter.
Knicks get a top 3 player in Giannis and a good bench PG in Cole Anthony
Potential starting lineups
Bucks: McBride/Hart/Kuzma/KAT/Turner and a pick or two. With KPJ and Portis leading the bench
Knicks: Brunson/OG/Mikal/Giannis/Robinson with Cole Anthony off the bench
Both have cap room to involve a third team for example the Bucks could move Hart to somewhere for somewhere worse. My example would be Hart to the Grizzlies for Brandon Clarke and Scotty Pippen Jr but I haven't put any thought into that one so idk.
Also ignore the failed because the trade could just happen in 2 weeks
