Starting to stress about son’s upcoming bar mitzvah

My son is having his bar mitzvah late February. We’ve done a lot of the planning already (food, venue, rentals for activities for the kids, photographer etc) and he is doing a great job being prepared. All that said, the party planner I’m working with is now helping with ‘decor’ and I am staring to stress that party will ‘suck’ and the kids won’t have fun. Having written that out, I know it sounds ridiculous. We are being very modest with the planning and the party is low key lunch right after the service, but somehow it’s grown to 80 people and I’m now in over my head. Please share your words of wisdom!!

We are trying to balance the real purpose and meaning of this special day for my son with respectfully hosting all these people who will have traveled to celebrate him.
